Partners

Many organisations are working in this area, and the purpose of the Wiltshire Chalk Partnership is to collaborate more formally to support the creation of at least 2,000 hectares of new habitat, and enhancement of existing habitat. 

To facilitate landscape-scale nature recovery the Partnership will: 

• Bring together people and organisations who work in or have interests in bringing about nature recovery 
• Act as a useful forum to aid the creation of plans and actions to deliver effective and coordinated nature recovery 
• Demonstrate leadership with the ambition of transformative positive change 
• Be a voluntary community of practice working to complement statutory and other legal frameworks 
• Share intelligence about funding opportunities and delivery best practice 
• Communicate effectively about the work of the Partnership 

As the Partnership evolves we invite more organisations and landholders to join us as we deliver a shared roadmap for nature recovery, creating an ongoing programme of sympathetic interventions.
